Taliban leader Mansoor killed by U.S. drone
Taliban leader Mullah Akhtar Mansoor possibly a US drone strike killed Saturday in a remote region of Pakistan, a US defense department official said.
Mansur is believed to be about 48, had assumed the leadership of the Taliban last year after the death of the official, Mullah Mohammad Omar.
